What we collect

When you request a free check, we collect the product link you send, your email address, and basic technical details that help us stop abuse, such as a one-way scrambled version of your IP address and your browser type. If you tick the research box, we record that you agreed, when, and the wording you saw.

When you browse the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, referring site, device type and approximate location.

How we use it

To prepare and email the report you asked for, reply to you, keep the site secure, understand which pages are useful, and measure and improve our marketing.

We add you to an email list only if you opt in or join it yourself. Every list email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic. Google's explanation of how it uses this data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay, so we can improve the site. For how Microsoft collects and uses data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement at www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement.

We may use advertising tools, such as the Meta Pixel, to measure our ads and show them to people who have visited the site. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings and the ad preferences of each platform.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host the site, store data, send email, and provide analytics and advertising, only so they can provide those services to us. They may process data in Canada, the United States or other countries.

We don't sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep check requests for as long as we need them to deliver your report and run the service, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@cartforagents.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16.
